The Elmshade
Located at 195 South Main Street in historic Uxbridge, MA, The Elmshade was built in 1806 by the Taft Family. We share this wonderful building with A Touch of Magick, The Academy for the Psychic Arts, Arborvitae Botanicals and Retro Records. This charming home, and its beautiful grounds are the perfect setting for magical portraits, and when your session is over, feel free to browse the shop, get a reading, or have a cup of homemade herbal tea while enjoying the music and the ambiance.

Hello! I'm Jamie
Born and raised in the enchanting town of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, my journey as an artist began in childhood. I first fell in love with photography in middle school, and embarked on a formal path to hone my craft, graduating from Framingham State University in 2001 and completing the Professional Photography Program at the New England School of Photography in 2003. My training in classical portrait photography, combined with a mastery of Photoshop and other digital manipulation techniques, allows me to weave magic into my portrait work.
Infusing my passion for the magical things in life with portrait photography, I create fantasy composite portraits that blend Old World Style with new technology. It brings me immense joy to collaborate with my clients, crafting singular works of art that they will cherish for generations to come.
In 2018, I realized my lifelong dream when I opened Wicked Depiction Photography Studio, and I've been creating magic ever since!
